All silhouette machines are capable of using the print cut feature. Some of you more advanced silhouette users may be wondering why i didn t use the pixscan mat to cut my laminated labels i actually tried and it probably would have been successful but because i m not running the updated version of silhouette studio on my desktop computer yet though i do have it on my laptop it just got too darn. Once you have done this carefully lay your vinyl over the top of the stickers avoiding the registration area as the reflection can interfere with the optical tool.

With print cut you can use your free silhouette studio software to create a design or use a print cut design from the silhouette design store and print it out on your home printer. Use a vinyl scraper to quickly remove all the pieces of paper left on the cutting mat after removing your design. I m new to the silhouette cameo. When you start cutting select the default material that is closest to the material you are using. At first i was worried that it would not cut.

There are times though that it might cut too deep cutting through the paper behind the vinyl or too shallow not cutting all the way through the material in some or all places.
