Seems they are eating the old paper backing that is falling off the old batt insulation. Sprinkle boric acid on and around a cracker and place it as poison bait. I found silverfish in my attic. Would you recommend removing all the paper and then calling an exterminator. Coat index cards with the paste allow it to dry and use as sticky traps. I read online that they are not of any health concern so maybe i should just forget about it. The silverfish ingest the boric acid when they groom themselves or eat the insulation which causes them to die.
