I lost my info book on the sims 3 and haven t been able to find it since.
Sims 3 can t place floor tile.
Optionally a second tile can be added on the other side of the same grid tile through the same means done before.
A grid will show just fine but i can t add floor tiles no matter what.
It s just an issue with the second floor.
Ts2 diagonal floor tiles can also be created by building a diagonal wall and then placing a floor tile on one side of the wall.
I literally can t place floor tiles for my second floor.
The answer is easy enough go to the roof tool and remove all roof pieces and turn off the auto roof and then add the roof when you are.
Building multi floor homes in the sims 3 is not that difficult in fact it can be really simple.
Yes i have tried making a room and deleting the walls that does not work at all nor did any floor tiles even show up when i placed a room just the walls.
You need to direct your sim to pull one of the statues from the left onto the tile.
Today after i placed a ladder then deleted it a hole in my floor appeared and i cannot place a floor tile over it.
I don t really have a guess why it does this but sometimes the game does weird things with the underside of flooring.
I am currently building editing my sims high rise.
In the sims 3 trangular title placement is simplified by entering the trangular tile mose by holding dowb ctrl and pressing the f keys.
I have wasted a lot of time trying to work out why my stairs can t be placed because of this problem.
Simcity is an open ended city building video game series originally designed by will wright the first game in the series simcity was published by maxis in 1989.
Therefore simply having your sim standing on it is insufficient.
Note i am using the appropriate cheats.
Placing a collumn under it using constrainfloorelev.
My best guess for how to fix it though is to go to the level above and delete those floor tiles above the effected area then replace them.
No they re above some random tiles on the bottom floor that have nothing on them.
The floor tile in the next room is a little trickier because it needs a constant presence on it for the door to remain unlocked.
I have tried everthing i can think of.
That has worked for me in the past.
