Sims 3 Why Is My Roof On The Wrong Floor

I don t have any coielings but i have already tried replacing them and the two roofs either side above the bay windows don t go through either even though those rooms don t have a ceiling.

Yeah just turn off autoroof. Basically when you go up one floor and try to build a room wall roof anything really the cursor wants to build on the first floor instead of where you actually want to build. If it fits right pull out the walls to cover the new piece of roof. Only pull the walls out over the existing roof don t pull it over empty air we have to add smaller pieces differently.

I have tried everthing i can think of. Using the select tool click on the roof of the house in an area that was already there and you should get a room box appear on top. If you need a roof to extend from the house to an outbuilding for some reason but without. Its a pain has no design sense at all and generally just looks lousy.
